Yellow Cab is an on demand transportation company. When you place your order we do our best to service your request in a timely manner. Due to the nature of our business we cannot always predict the volume of calls or the amount of traffic our drivers will be dealing with at any given time. Rest assured, we are doing our very best to get you where you need to be as quickly and safely as possible.

Payment Options

With our backseat payment devices there is no need to carry cash or your credit card! All devices are enabled to accept Apple Pay and Google Wallet. Simply hit the credit button and instead of swiping your card, place your phone near the device to complete the transaction.

We still accept all major credit cards and cash too!
Sorry we do not accept checks.
All drivers accept Cash, Credit Card, Taxi Cash Cards, Apple Pay and Google Wallet.

If you have any problems with any payment options, please contact our dispatcher right away at 703-491-2222. When reporting an issue, please note the cab number and driver number if possible. This information can be seen on the device.

Rates Set by Prince William County Board of Supervisors for all taxicabs licensed by PWC.

Rates:

• $4.00 for the initial activation of the meter.
• $0.25 for each additional 1/10th of a mile.
• $0.25 for each 32 seconds of waiting time.
• $1.00 for each additional passenger over the age of 4

Yellow Cab appreciates your patronage.

Waiting time includes:

• Time spent while the taxi cab is waiting and available to the passenger beginning five minutes after the time of arrival to the dispatch destination. No time shall be charged for premature response to a call
• Time spent while the taxi is stopped or slowed due to traffic.
• Time spent due to delays or stopovers at the direction of the passenger.

DBids (Department of Defense Biometric Identification System Access) to Quantico Marine Base

DBIDS is a networked database system designed to verify access authorization of personnel and contractors entering military installations by using barcode and fingerprint biometric identification.

We have drivers that are credentialed by the Department of Defense and have been issued DBids (Department of Defense Biometric Identification System) cards to ensure that we can transport you to all points on Marine Corp Base Quantico. Service to and from The Basic School (TBS), FBI Academy, Officer’s Candidate School (OCS), Marine Security Guard Battalion (MSG) , the Post Exchange (PX) and Commissary and other points on the Base.

The Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) is an identification authentication and force protection tool that is fully operational on military bases throughout the world, including Quantico Marine base.

Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) increases installation security and communications. Without this access you would not be able to be driven past the front gate.

Be sure to request a Dbids driver if needed.

Airport Services

We provide service to and from all Airports, local and long distance. Schedule your ride to and/or from Regan National Airport (DCA), Dulles (IAD), Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI), See estimated fares below. Please remember that all fares are metered and may be slightly higher or lower depending on local traffic, weather or other conditions.

We also service Stafford Regional, Manassas Regional Airport, and Richmond International Airport (RIC). Call for fare estimates.

Additionally, we offer service between local hotels, Stafford and Quantico Marine Corp Base.

Accessible Vehicle Service

In March 2013 Yellow cab of Prince William County added wheel chair accessible taxi service. Individuals can be transported in their wheelchair or, if able, the chair can be placed in the back with the individual in a standard passenger seat.

Passengers can request immediate service, but due to limited availability, reservations are recommended at least an hour or two in advance. Reservations may also be set a day or two, or even a week or more, in advance.
